Ascend when the multiplier the game offers gives a large jump over your current one and your run has slowed down. Early on, rebuilding is fast, so frequent ascends at +50–100% are usually worth it.
Do ascend multipliers stack or add?
In Sell Lemons, ascend multipliers compound rather than add — so your 10th ascend is worth far more than 10× your first. Investor and evolution bonuses stack on top.
Will I lose my progress when I ascend?
Ascending resets your lemon stand to its base state, but the permanent income multiplier means you rebuild faster. Investor count and percentage bonuses are kept.
